Diagnosis. This species is somewhat similar to L. bellula in the pattern of abdominal tergites ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 K, 4L), but can be distinguished from the latter by the 2nd abdominal tergite with brown patch ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 K, 4L), and the scutellum yellow, with brown margin ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 C).

Acrostichal setulae in ca. 12–14 irregular rows ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 C). Postpronotal lobe yellow ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 D). Pleura nearly yellow ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 D). Halter yellowish ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 D). Male terminalia: Epandrium with 10 setae near posterior margin and ventral corner per side ( Fig. 9 View FIGURE 9 A). Paramere with ca. 15 sensilla distally ( Fig. 9 View FIGURE 9 B). Aedeagus slender basally, with pubescence on distal 1/3 ( Fig. 9 View FIGURE 9 B).
