(97) Leydigia (Neoleydigia) australis ceylonica ( Daday, 1898) View in CoL
Indian records. Bihar —Sharma B.K. & Sharma S. (2001); Kerala — Subhash Babu & Thomas (2007); Tamil Nadu —Michael & Sharma B.K. (1988), Raghunathan & Suresh Kumar (2002, 2009); General record—Sharma B.K. & Michael (1987), Murugan et al. (1998), Raghunathan & Suresh Kumar (2003).
Remarks. L. ceylonica was described from Sri Lanka ( Daday 1898). L. australis ceylonica in Michael and Sharma B.K. (1988) is apparently L. ciliata . But, at the same time, L. ceylonica s. str. is most likely a valid species (AAK, personal observation based on few specimens from Thailand), and it could be found in India. We think that " L. australis " from Cambodia (Tanaka & Ohtaka 2010) also belongs to this taxon
