Material examined. 2 males, 2 females. Peninsular Malaysia, Pahang, Bukit Fraser: 1 female, along Semantan Road, N03.71732, E101.73096, elev. 1265± 6.9 m, tall grasses, feeding on bamboo leaves, coll. M. K. Tan & S. T. Toh, 13 May 2013, 2028 hours; 1 female, along Peninjau Road, N03.71408, E101.74557, elev. 1252± 5.5 m, tall grasses, burrowed inside bamboo, coll. M. K. Tan & S. T. Toh, 17 May 2013, 1940 hours; 1 male, along Peninjau Road, N03.71486, E101.74442, elev. 1276± 6.6 m, tall grasses, burrowed inside bamboo, coll. M. K. Tan & S. T. Toh, 17 May 2013, 2031 hours (all ZRC); 1 male, Fraser’s Hill, coll. R. A. Lever, 25 December 1954 ( BMNH).

Discussion. The species was so far only known from the male types from Selangor (Ulu Gombak Field Study Centre) and Pahang (Krau Game Reserve). Collection of new material by MKT in Bukit Fraser, Pahang represents a new locality for the species ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 A). Collection of female specimens also allowed the description of the female for the first time ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 B).

Descriptions (female). Tenth abdominal tergite with distinct medial groove, apex terminating into two broadly and gently rounded lobes, with a shallow emargination in between ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 C). Epiproct triangular. Cercus swollen, terminal end with a conical obtuse process pointing internally ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 C). Subgenital plate broader than long, with lateral margins converging; apex terminating into two obtuse-triangular lobes, deeply excised in between ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 D). Ovipositor medium to short, compressed and blade-shaped; highest in circa middle of length; margins smooth; apex obtuse, dorsal and ventral valves equally long ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 E).
