Lingulatus longfeiae Lin & Li , sp. nov. ( Figs 31–32 View Figure 31 View Figure 32 , 47C–D View Figure 47 )
Etymology. The species is named after Ms. Longfei Wang; noun (name) in genitive case.
Diagnosis. For the diagnosis of the males see L. dongping Lin & Li , sp. nov. The female of the new species can be distinguished from all congeners by having the copulatory ducts strongly curved, the bursa as long as wide and the spermathecae are L-shaped.
Description. Male (holotype). Total length 2.93; carapace 1.35 long, 1.10 wide, opisthosoma 1.58 long, 0.84 wide. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.09, ALE 0.08, PME 0.06, PLE 0.07, AME–AME 0.03, AME–ALE 0.01, PME–PME 0.09, PME–PLE 0.06, AME–PME 0.06, ALE–PLE 0.06. Chelicerae with three promarginal and two retromarginal teeth. Leg measurements: I 5.11 (1.27, 1.98, 1.30, 0.56), II 3.73 (1.02, 1.33, 0.85, 0.53), III 3.06 (0.84, 0.97, 0.78, 0.47), IV 4.73 (1.29, 1.48, 1.31, 0.65). Leg spination: I femur 4pv, 2d, tibia 7pv, 8rv, metatarsus 4pv, 3rv; II femur 2pv, 1d, tibia 6-6v, metatarsus 4pv, 3rv, III femur 1d, IV femur 1d.
Coloration ( Fig. 47C View Figure 47 ). Carapace brown to yellow, two black lines across carapace, edge black. Chelicerae brown. Endites and labium yellow-brown. Sternum yellow. Legs paler yellow with black ring pattern. Opisthosoma oval, dorsum black, middle with a big white spot, dorsal scutum covering almost all of opisthosoma, ventrum yellow. Spinnerets yellow.
Palp ( Fig. 31 View Figure 31 ). Femoral apophysis obvious, almost two times longer than width of patella, with groove. Patella almost as long as wide. Ventral tibial apophysis blunt. Retrolateral tibial apophysis absent. Dorsal tibial apophysis long, almost as long as tibia, with a hooked tip. Cymbium two times longer than wide. Bulb oval. Sperm duct U-shaped. Tegular apophysis triangular. Anterior tegular sheet long, almost half length of embolus, arising at clock 12:00 position. Posterior tegular sheet inconspicuous, arising at clock 6:00 position. Embolus with broad base and pointed tip, prolaterally serrated, sickle shaped.
Female (IZCAS-Ar43931). Total length 3.85; carapace 1.45 long, 1.19 wide, opisthosoma 2.40 long, 1.42 wide. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.07, ALE 0.08, PME 0.06, PLE 0.08, AME–AME 0.03, AME–ALE 0.03, PME–PME 0.08, PME–PLE 0.05, AME–PME 0.08, ALE–PLE 0.07. Leg spination: I femur 4pv, tibia 8-8v, metatarsus 4-4v; II femur 3pv, 1d, tibia 5-5v, metatarsus 3-3v, IV femur 1d.
Coloration ( Fig. 47D View Figure 47 ). Similar to that of male except lacking scutum on opisthosoma.
Epigyne ( Fig. 32 View Figure 32 ). Epigynal plate rectangular. Copulatory openings separated, at middle of epigynal plate. Copulatory ducts C-shaped. Bursae large, almost oval, wider than long, covering nearly 2/3 of epigynal plate. Glandular appendages obvious, transverse, directed dorsally. Spermathecae long and slender, S-shaped. Fertilization ducts directed toward clock 1:00 position from spermathecae.
