Etymology. This epithet derives from the type locality.
Diagnosis. The new species resembles Linyphia triangularoides Schenkel, 1936 ( Tanasevitch, 1989, fig. 226) in having the similar scape, but can be distinguished by the spiral folds with two and half turns in L. gaoshidongensis sp. nov. ( Fig. 175B, C View FIGURE 175 ), whereas with three and half turns in L. triangularoides ( Tanasevitch, 1989, fig. 226).
Description. Female (holotype, Fig. 176A, B View FIGURE 176 ): Total length: 4.77. Carapace 1.67 long, 1.20 wide, yellow– brown; fovea, cervical and radial grooves distinct. Clypeus 0.23 high. Sternum longer than wide, brown. Labium wider than long. Maxillae long, distal end broad with scopulae. Chelicerae with two promarginal and three retromarginal teeth. AER recurved, PER procurved, slightly wider. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.10, ALE 0.12, PME 0.08, PLE 0.09, AME–AME 0.05, PME–PME 0.12, AME–ALE, 0.10, PME–PLE 0.13, AME–PME 0.16, ALE–ALE 0.59, PLE–PLE 0.64, ALE–PLE contiguous. Length of legs: I 9.89 (2.66, 3.04, 2.86, 1.33), II 7.24 (2.13, 2.06, 2.04, 1.01), III 5.58 (1.97, 1.37, 1.49, 0.75), IV 6 (1.90, 1.70, 1.42, 0.98). Leg formula I-II-IV-III. Tm I 0.69. Tibial spine formula: 2-2-2-2. Abdomen 2.78 long, 1.77 wide, oval, gray, middorsally with a large distinct longitudinal black pattern with serrated margins, lateral sides with white patches; ventral side light brown, median area with a wide langitudinal gray band, lateral area with two inclined dark striae.
Epigyne ( Fig. 175A–C View FIGURE 175 ): Scape somewhat triangular, with a ventral socket extending above the epigastric furrow; copulatory openings present posteriorly. Vulva: spiral folds with two and half turns; spermathecae elliptical, pointing towards each other.
Male. Unknown.
Distribution. Known only from the type locality ( Fig. 180 View FIGURE 180 ).
