Distribution

Palaearctic (Western Palaearctic) ( Johansson 2024).

Notes

Species recorded for North Italy, as a subspecies of Lissonota bicincta Szépligeti, 1899 ( Scaramozzino 1995). This is the first record of the species for Sicily.

Diagnosis

With respect to the re-description of the species in Johansson (2024), the specimen collected in Sicily is slightly darker, with the hind corner of pronotum black and with the posterior margin on metasomal tergite II narrowly reddish.
