Lubomirus masneri sp. nov.

Holotype, ♀: SIZK UA-1675 , Rivne Oblast, Rovno amber, late Eocene, Priabonian.Amber fragment with holotype is a triangular prism, sized 6.0: 4.5: 7.5: 1.3 mm.
Diagnosis. Fore wing with costal, subcostal, basal, marginal, and stigmal veins sclerotized; radial, postmarginal, and poststigmal veins visible as traces ( Fig. 3A View FIGURE 3 ); traces of radial and postmarginal veins forming closed radial cell, which is as long as marginal vein; trace of radial vein straight. Mesopleuron in lateral view with straight epicnemial carina developed throughout mesopleuron, from tegula to its ventral side ( Figs 2B, 2C View FIGURE 2 , 3B View FIGURE 3 ).
Description. Female (holotype). Body length 1.3 mm; antennae about 0.74 times as long as body; wing 0.85 times as long as body.
Head. Head smooth and bare, about twice as wide as long, slightly wider than mesosoma; POL: not visible; LOL: 1; OOL: 2; ocelli large, LOL as long as diameter of lateral ocellus; eye large and bare, 2.5 times as high as malar distance; face and cheek smooth with few scattered setae; clypeus convex, transverse, 1.6 times as wide as high; epistomal sulcus distinct; tentorial pits present; mandibles elongate, narrowed to the apex, symmetrical, bidentate.
Antenna. Filiform, stout; A1 cylindrical, 2.8 times as long as wide, covered with reticulate sculpture and scattered, short setae; A3 slightly shorter than A4, both about 1.35 times as long as wide, A5–A14 about 1.1 times as long as wide, A15 2.1 times as long as wide; A3–A15 covered with recumbent pubescence.
Mesosoma. Pronotum coarsely rugose between epomia in dorsal view; pronotal shoulders angled; lateral side of pronotum sculptured along vertical branch of epomia and almost smooth posteriorly; mesoscutum smooth and convex; notauli complete, deep and slightly crenulate; humeral sulcus longer than tegula, not crenulate; scutellum convex, sculptured along posterior margin; anterior scutellar pit large and deep, crenulate at bottom, without median keel ( Fig. 2A View FIGURE 2 ); metanotum narrow, coarsely rugose laterally; characters of metascutum invisible; propodeum in dorsal view invisible; mesopleuron with deep mesepimeral sulcus, epicnemial carina and sculpture along anterior margin; metapleuron and lateral side of propodeum coarsely rugose and with few short, scattered setae; mesopleuron in ventral view with acetabular carina behind fore-coxa and crenulate mesodiscrimen; fore tarsal claws with a row of strong setae ventrally ( Fig. 3C View FIGURE 3 red arrow); mid and hind tarsal claws with few strong setae ventrally ( Fig. 3D View FIGURE 3 ); fore and mid legs slender; hind tibiae gradually swollen with carina on inner side.
Metasoma. Petiole short, with elongate carinae and few scattered setae; sutures between tergites complete and deeply impressed; T2 strongly convex in lateral view, smooth, covered with few scattered setae; base of S2 sculptured, with several deep elongate grooves ( Fig. 3B View FIGURE 3 ). Other metasomal characters not visible.
Male. Unknown.
Etymology. The new species is named in honor of Dr. Lubomir Masner.
