Range: —Central and southern Brazil, Bolivia (SC).
Ecology: —Rare (known from a single collection, Labiak 2773, LPB); terrestrial; 500 m.
Notes: —The sole specimen shows all of the features of this species: broad dark band along thick-coriaceous, palmately lobed, dimorphic fronds lacking hydathodes adaxially; stipes non-sulcate; sori not interrupted at the sinuses.
