Status at New Ireland. New record, based on NTUM material (1 specimen, St. CP 4420-24, northeast of New Hanover ).

Distribution and habitat. New Ireland: 1.—General distribution: Taiwan to southern Japan; Papua New Guinea. Demersal on the continental slope, 200–425 m depth. Marine.
