Material: 03.07.1995, Didim, Aegean Sea , on a Pinna sp. shell, 4 m, 1 spm ( ESFM-GAS/95-112 ) .
Remarks: M. paciniana has a shell with a multispiral protoconch and orthocline axial ribs on teleoconch whorls (on the body whorl 9 ribs). Posterior sinus well developed and limited with a fold on the labial side. A thick varix on the labrum. The species is very similar to Mangelia sandrii , from which it can be easily differentiated by its multispiral protoconch.
Distribution: Eastern Atlantic Ocean (WoRMS Editorial Board 2020). Turkish coasts: Levantine Sea, Aegean Sea and Sea of Marmara (Özt̹rk et al. 2014).
