( Figs 12 View FIGURE 12 , 29D View FIGURE 29 , 32 View FIGURE 32 )
Types. VENEZUELA. ♂ holotype, ♀ paratype, Lara, (09°42’22”N; 69°34’42”W), Yacambu, National Park Yacambu, 14.4 km S. E. Sanare, 1500m, 17.V.1998, R. Anderson leg., deposited in AMNH GoogleMaps .
Etymology. The species epithet is a noun in apposition taken from the type locality.
Diagnosis. Males of M. yacambu n. sp. resemble those of M. colombiensis , M. downeyi , M. lewisi , M. amarumayu n. sp., M. mutum n. sp. and M. aguaruna n. sp. in the piriform palpal bulb, but differ in the embolus tip with distal curvature ( Fig. 12B–C View FIGURE 12 ) and double P 2 in the leg tibia ( Fig. 29D View FIGURE 29 ). Females resemble those of M. tayrona n. sp. in the presence of four lobes on spermathecae ( Fig. 22G View FIGURE 22 ), and differ in the short and uniform ectal lobe ( Fig. 12E View FIGURE 12 ).
