Lectotype (designated here by Robson): Herb. Clifford: 72, Celastrus 2, sheet A (BM-000558125) .

Current name: Maytenus heterophylla (Eckl. & Zeyh.) N. Robson View in CoL ( Celastraceae ).

Note: Sebsebe (in Symb. Bot. Upsal. 25(2): 88. 1985) indicated Clifford material as lectotype but did not distinguish between the two sheets there that are associated with this name. As they do not appear to be part of a single gathering, Art. 9.15 does not apply.
