Bordoni, 2012a: 299 (Type locality: China, Yunnan, Lincang env., 2100 m) .
Type material: male, with labels as follows: “ HOLOTYPUS, Megalinus , solivagus sp. n., Bordoni det. 2011” / “Cina-Yunnan, Lincang dint. 2100 m, R. Cinotti VIII.2008 ” ( CB) .
Distribution. China (Yunnan).
Remarks. This species could be distinguished from its congeners by: 1) head sparsely punctate, interspaces between 2–3 punctures’ diameters, with a median longitudinal region ca. 0.2 mm width; 2) antennomere II distinctly longer than III; 3) admedian row of pronotum consisting of 7–8 punctures; lateral row, curvedly arranged, of 7–8 punctures; 4) anterior angle of pronotum not protruding, but rounded; 5) mesoscutellum shallowly covered with transverse microstriae; 5) each side of elytra bearing 8–9 rows of punctures; 6) interspaces between punctures on abdomen of 3–4 punctures’ diameter; 7) median lobe of aedeagus elliptical, inner sac membranous and dilated towards apex.
