Meganola cenwanga View in CoL Hu, László, Ronkay & Wang, sp. nov.

( Figs. 9–10 View FIGURES 1 – 16. 1 – 4 )

Material examined. Holotype. Male, Cenwanglaoshan, Guangxi, China, 6. VI. 2002, Min Wang, Slide No. hyq 643 (SCAU). Paratype. 1 male, 60 km NW of Hanoi, Tam Dao, N. Vietnam, 950 m, 21.34’N, 105.20’E, 14–15. VII. 1994, Brechlin & Schintlmeister, Slide No. LGN531 (W 15026) (Deposited in Museum Witt, Munich).

Diagnosis. The new species resembles M. postmediana László, Ronkay & Witt, 2010 , but is readily distinguishable by the following characters: the postmedial line of the new species is remarkably sharper defined and more evenly arcuate; the costal part of the median area is much paler, while the ventral part is somewhat darker than in M. postmediana . The differences in the male genitalia are also well expressed: the new species has much broader apical part of valva, and somewhat longer, medially broader and apically rounded harpe (it is apically pointed in M. postmediana ). The aedeagus of the new species is remarkably shorter than that of M. postmediana , and the vesica is armed by a cornuti field consisting of fine, short cornuti ( M. postmediana has a long, acute cornutus in the vesica).

Description. Adult ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 1 – 16. 1 – 4 ). Wingspan 18–22 mm. Head relatively large, yellowish white; antenna whitish brown, bipectinate in male; palpus labialis short, yellowish brown. Thorax and abdomen brown. Collar grayish brown. Forewing ground color grayish white; basal line poorly visible; antemedial line very pale, diffuse, curved; medial line poorly visible; postmedial line black, sharply defined, continuously arched; subterminal line grayish brown, interrupted, wavy; terminal line thin and grayish brown; cilia grayish brown; median area of forewing suffused with dark brown hair scales. Hindwing uniformly grayish brown. Male genitalia ( Fig. 10 View FIGURES 1 – 16. 1 – 4 ): Uncus short, broad at base, gradually tapering, apically pointed; tegumen broad, medium long; valva long, somewhat constricted at middle, apically dilated; cucullus broadly rounded; costal margin smooth and sclerotized, concave; sacculus rather small; harpe long, slightly curved at middle, slightly broadened, apically rounded; vinculum medium long, V-shaped. Aedeagus cylindrical; coecum short, rather tubular; vesica membranous, bearing small cornuti field consisteding of fine, short cornuti. Female: Unknown.
