Melanispa bicolor Zayas, 1960: 131 View in CoL (type locality: ‘ Cuba, Pico de Potrerillos , Las Villas’; HT in coll. Zayas, Cuba).
Remarks. The species is not congeneric with Melanispa , nor does it ¿t into any other described genus. However, I had no oportunity to examine its type to make any ¿nal conclusions, thus it is considered as an unclassi¿ed to genus. See additional comments under Melanispa .
