Melanoplus View in CoL sp.

It was collected in December. This genus is one of the most diverse of the Acrididae family, and many of their groups and species still have taxonomic complexities, therefore it is not determined to species. Currently 33 species of Melanoplus are reported for Mexico (Cigliano et al. 2018), M. nitidus Scudder (Tepic, Nayarit, in the original description it was noted for "Tepic, Jalisco ") it is the only one reported for the state Jalisco, Mexico surroundings.
