11. Millettia brandisiana Kurz (1873: 69) View in CoL .
Type: — MANMAR. Pegu, Yomah , 28 March 1871, S. Kurz 2538 (lectotype: CAL0000008168 About CAL image!, designated by Mattapha et al. 2019a: 179) .
Hô (1999) and Mattapha (2020) recorded this species from Vietnam, but Lock & Heald (1994) and Lôc & Vidal (2001) did not include it in the flora of Vietnam. In Câyco Viêtnam: An Illustrated Flora of Vietnam, Hô (1999) described this species with 11 leaflets, and provided a drawing that indicated it with 9 leaflets, both of which are inconsistent with the 15–21 leaftlets per leaf of Millettia brandisiana . Mattapha (2020) did not provide any vouchers from Vietnam. We also did not find any specimens from Vietnam. Thus this species should be excluded from flora of Vietnam. Mattapha et al. (2019a) designated S. Kurz 2538 (CAL0000008168), which bears many flowers and was collected on 28 March 1871, as a lectotype, but the two specimens of S. Kurz 2538 (CAL0000008167 and K000848699) should not be considered as isolectotypes because they bear pods and were collected on 29 January 1871.
