Diagnosis. Forewing length is 7.5–8.5 mm (wingspan 17–18.5 mm) in males and 8–8.5 mm (wingspan 17.5– 18.5) in females. Miltochrista angulifera is the smallest member of the species-group, which, in addition, differs externally from their relatives by its short and broadened forewing, more diffuse forewing pattern and short serration of the postmedial line at the wing apex. The male genital capsule of M. angulifera is characterised by the prominent distal costal process with rounded tip, the prominent distal membranous lobe of valva, and the narrow thorn-shaped distal saccular process. The vesica of aedeagus bears a bunch of three falcate cornuti on the same sclerotised base. The female genitalia are characterised by the well-developed accessory bursae situated postero-ventrally and covered with numerous spinules anteriorly, in addition the corpus bursae evenly covered with robust spinules.
Distribution. Malaysia (Malay Peninsula: Pahang State; Borneo Island: Sabah and Sarawak States), Indonesia (Sumatra Island) ( Holloway 2001; Bucsek 2012).
