Taxonomic note: Vives (2018) catalogued and illustrated 60 types of long-horned beetles, described by Breuning (1980) and deposited in the National Museum of Natural History ( MNHN), Paris. The holotype of Mimomorpha flavopunctata is illustrated in Fig. 52 (Vives 2018). Hüdepohl (1995) described a new genus Ametacyna Hüdepohl, 1995 and A. holzschuchi Hüdepohl, 1995 . The holotype of it was provided by Hüdepohl in Fig. 4 View Fig . During the study of photographs and descriptions of holotypes of Mimomorpha flavopunctata and Ametacyna holzschuchi , we concluded that these taxa are conspecific morphologically. Thus, new synonymy was provided: Ametacyna holzschuchi Huedepohl, 1995 syn. nov. is a junior synonym of Mimomorpha flavopunctata Breuning, 1980 . As the genus Ametacyna is monotypic, it is also considered to be a junior synonym of the genus Mimomorpha Newman, 1842 (= Ametacyna Hüdepohl, 1995 syn. nov.).
