Non-type material examined. Indonesia: 1 male: ‘ Ceram [h]; Bowring. / 63·47* [p]’. (West Papua) : 1 male: ‘Para/lecto/ type [p, label circular, blue framed]; Dor. [Dorey, New Guinea]/ 285 [h, white circular label]; Pascoe / coll. / 93–60. [p] ’
Comments. Four syntypes (2 males, 2 females) were confirmed from Pascoe’s collection based on the locality. Herein we designated one male specimen, which has been labelled with a handwritten identification label marked with ‘ Type’ , as the lectotype and the remaining specimens become paralectotypes. One specimen labelled ‘Dor.’ by Wallace is from Dorey (now Manokwari), New Guinea, and although labelled in the past as a paralectotype, it is here excluded from the type series, as this locality is not mentioned in the description.
