Distr.: Colombia (Antioquia (Medellin)), Brazil, Chile, Argentina; cosmopolitan, most common in temperate areas. Refs.: de Carvalho et al., 1993: 15 (cat.); de Carvalho et al., 2003: 18 (cat.); Wolff et al., 2004: 10 (larvae, doubt on the specific identification).
