M. (Benglebra) introspina Viraktamath & Webb, 2019: 23 View in CoL . Description. Body length (including forewing): male 4.53–4.70 mm (9 specimens); female 4.57–5.0 mm (17 specimens); forewing length: male 3.46–3.58 mm (9 specimens), female 3.46–4.12 mm (17 specimens).

Female genitalia. Sternite VII with anterior margin nearly straight; lateral margin convergent posteriorly; posterior margin slightly concave ( Fig. 27 View FIGURES 25–28 ). First and second valvula as in M. (Benglebra) biflaka sp. nov. ( Figs 39–40 View FIGURES 37–44 ).

Host Plant. Bamboo.
Distribution. China (Guizhou, Yunnan).
Remarks. This species is similar to M. (Benglebra) alami but differs as follows: (1) crown and pronotum with reddish orange stripes (crown and pronotum with a pair of yellow brown stripes in M. (Benglebra) alami ); (2) male pygofer with ventral process more dorso-posteriorly bent (male pygofer with ventral process more strongly curved posteriorly near base in M. (Benglebra) alami ); (3) dorsal margin of aedeagus less extensively serrated, shaft short (dorsal margin of aedeagus more extensively serrated, shaft much longer in M. (Benglebra) alami ).
