Notes:— The diatom genus Moelleria (originally spelled as Mölleria ) was named after the German microscopist Johann Diedrich Möller (1844–1907), collaborator of P. T. Cleve (1840–1905). The fungi names Moelleria and Moelleriella are eponyms of the name of German mycologist Friedrich Alfred Gustav Jobst Möller (1860–1922).
