Nilotonia (Dartiella) turcica Özkan & Soysal, 1989
Records from Turkey: Erzurum Province (Özkan & Soysal 1989); Kayseri Province ( Özkan et al. 1996). Remarks: Panesar (2004) included Nilotonia turcica in the subgenus Dartia . However according to Di Sabatino et al. (2010) the lacking of the sexual dimorphism of II-L (characteristic for the subgenus Dartiella ) is of a greater taxonomic weight, while the reduced size of the Ac may have more easily evolved several times independently.
Habitat: Weakly seeping helocrenes, rich in moss vegetation.
Distribution: Turkey.
