Paranocaracris rubripes demirsoyi new subspecies: Ünal 2002: 282, 285.

Type locality. Turkey, Bolu, Kartalkaya. Holotype: female (AİBÜEM).

Material examined. TURKEY: The type material and the specimens published in Ünal (2002, 2009); Zonguldak, Nr. Safranbolu [now in Karabük province], 700 m, 17.7.1962, 2♂ (leg. K. M. Guichard & D. H. Harvey) ( NHMUK) ; Bolu, Kartalkaya , 2130 m, 40.35.387 N, 31.47.692 E, 14.8.2015, 1♀ (leg. H. M. Solak) (AİBÜEM).

Distribution. N.W. Turkey: Found in the Western Black Sea Region of Turkey, Bolu, Karabük provinces ( Fig. 844 ).

Remarks. This taxon was described as subspecies of P. rubripes by me ( Ünal 2002). After comparison with all species of Nocaracris it is concluded that it is an independent species.
