Notocyrtus foveatus has been found in Panama, Colombia, Paraguay, Peru and Venezuela ( Stål 1872; Lethierry & Severin 1896; Champion 1898; Wygodzinsky 1949a; Maldonado 1990; Carvalho & Costa 1993) (Fig. 7).

New records. Brazil, states of Amazonas, Pará, and Goiás.

Material examined: BRAZIL, 1 male, Amazonas, Tefé, VIII­1991, Roppa & P. Magno leg.; 1 female, Pará, Tucuruí, Vila Brava, 15­VII­1980; 1 female, Goiás, Jataí, 1955.
