Type material. Holotype, ♂ ( ZDEU): Turkey, Muğla Province, Karaçulha District , Çaltɪlar, 36°54′309″ N 29°42′ 054″E, 1330–1340 m, 9.v.2009, leg. M.V. and S.V. Nabozhenko, B. Keskin . Paratypes (6♂♂, 6♀♀ in ZIN, 1♂ and 1♀ in SMNS and 7♂♂, 6♀♀ in ZDEU) with same labels. Paratypes (4♂♂, 2♀♀ in ZIN, 1♂ in HNHM and 8♂♂, 5♀♀ in ZDEU): Turkey, Denizli Province, Çameli District, Kınıkyeri , 37°10′718″ N 29°25′ 591″E, 1695 m, 8.v.2009, leg. M.V. and S.V. Nabozhenko, B. Keskin .

Bionomics. The species is active at early night (21:00–23:00) and feeds on lichens on trunks of old Juniperus excelsa .
