Type material: Holotype ( IZCAS Ar 19313) male, 2 male paratypes, CHINA: Hainan, Sanya , Liudao, Hills along coast (18°10.645´N, 109°33.989´E), 5 m a.s.l., 15 July 2007, S. Li leg. (LiSQ 6).
Etymology: The specific name is derived from the city of the distribution.
Diagnosis: The new species is easily distinguished by the apically narrowing palpal bulb which has a protuberance on retrolateral surface ( Fig. 5B View FIGURES 5 A – D ), the posterior eye row which is procurved from above, the very large book lung covers, and the weakly developed scutal ridges ( Fig. 5D View FIGURES 5 A – D ).
Description: Male (holotype) (IZCAS Ar 19313). Yellow species with yellowish legs. Body length 1.21; carapace 0.58 long, 0.42 wide; abdomen 0.65 long, 0.42 wide. Habitus as in Figs 1F, M View FIGURES 1 A – U . Sides of carapace with finely longitudinal streaks; dorsal area smooth with some hairs at lateral edges. Eyes six, well developed, ALE and PME nearly equal sized, PLE smallest; posterior eye row procurved from above; ALE nearly touching, ALE-PLE separated by less than ALE radius, PME touching throughout most of their length, PLE- PME separated by less than PME radius ( Fig. 5C View FIGURES 5 A – D ). Clypeus margin unmodified; clypeus height about 1.25 times of ALE diameter. Sternum longer than wide, uniform, fused to carapace; radial furrows present between coxae I-II, II-III, III-IV; surface smooth, without pits, microsculpture absent. Anterior end of endites with a small, sharply pointed projection. Legs short, thick and spineless. Measurements of legs: I 1.21 (0.37, 0.24, 0.26, 0.21, 0.13); II 1.02 (0.29, 0.18, 0.21, 0.21, 0.13); III 0.84 (0.26, 0.13, 0.16, 0.18, 0.11); IV 1.34 (0.39, 0.21, 0.32, 0.26, 0.16). Leg formula: 4>1>2>3. Abdominal dorsal scutum strongly sclerotized, punctate, covering full length of abdomen. Book lung covers large, ovoid, without setae. Pedicel tube short, ribbed, with narrow, dorsolateral, triangular extensions, scuto-pedicel region with weakly developed scutal ridges ( Fig. 5D View FIGURES 5 A – D ), scutum not extending far dorsal of pedicel. Sperm pore small, clearly discernible, transverse; posteriorly directed apodemes present. Colulus very small, with two short setae; spinneret scutum present, incomplete ring. Supra-anal scutum absent. Patella of palp greatly enlarged and swollen, attached to femur subbasally; cymbium completely fused to bulb without suture line; embolus complex, with small palpal depression ( Figs 5A, B View FIGURES 5 A – D ).
