—The membership of the two Chilean genera ( Miqueliopuntia Frič ex F.Ritter and Tunilla D.Hunt & Iliff ) in the Opuntieae is corroborated by various studies (e.g. Wallace & Dickie 2002, Griffith & Porter 2009, Majure et al. 2012).
