Diagnosis. P. vesperis can be distinguished from other Paraclorindaia by the anterior margin of the head not thin or foliaceous, male pygofer short in lateral view and square shaped and with short posteroventral tooth, subgenital plates meeting medially, and aedeagus symmetrical.
Body. Male, 2.4 mm to forewing apex.
Color. As in genus description. Relatively lightly colored.
Male. Pygofer short, quadrate; with four relatively long thick setae posterodorsally; posteroventral tooth distinct, sharply pointed, not long or claw-like. Subgenital plates triangular; meeting along median margins; laterally with numerous short, thick setae; with two loosely arranged rows of longer setae sublaterally, reaching nearly to middle of plate. Apical flange of aedeagus in caudal view with marginal crenulations.
Female. Unknown.

Etymology. The species name is a noun and highlights the western-most record of the genus.
Distribution. This species is known only from the holotype in the state of Santiago del Estero, Argentina.
