Pariana lunata Nees View in CoL

( Poaceae : Bambusoideae : Olyreae ) ( Figs. 6d–f View FIGURE 6 )

The host plant for two individuals of Thoon ponka (2021-FLP-IMM-0049, 0281) was identified as a species of herbaceous bamboo, Pariana lunata Nees. In the study area, this herbaceous bamboo grows generally in light gaps and along large forest trails inside the forest understory. Based on 2021-FLP-IMM-0049, the particular individual where the egg was located was in a light gap near the edge of the forest. On the date the egg was collected, the plant height was 1.3 m. The egg was found 0.7 m above the ground situated on the abaxial surface of the middle part of the leaf blade, near to the leaf margin.
