Pollen grains large, prolate spheroidal ( Table 1), polar area small ( Table 2), amb circular; colpi short, wide, endoaperture lalongate, pontoperculum ( Table 3) does not reduce the width of the apocolpium; sexine reticulate, heterobrochate, with muri simplecolumellate, sinuous, in some regions the muri are discontinuous, forming large lumina, without perforations, columellae high, apparent, tectum surface mostly slightly curved, lumina ornamented with pila ( Fig. 1K View FIGURE 1 ); there is no difference in the diameter of the lumina of the apocolpium and the mesocolpium; sexine thicker than nexine ( Table 4).
