Diagnosis

Following Kishii (1996): Body well depressed; head with a clear, rather close, deep and medio-longitudinal groove; antennae entirely filiform in female, each flabellum from 3rd to 10th feebly dilated near apical end and curved, and 11th generally broader than other antennomeres in male; pronotum broad, trapezoid, simply and medio-longitudinally elevated, with a pair of weak, shallow and transverse foveae before middle part; lateral sides straight (male) or slightly expanded (female); hind angles distinctly divergent; scutellar shield semicircular, weakly emarginate anterior-meddianly; striae on elytra almost absent (except some vestige visible near latero-basal part), with punctures obviously minuter and sparser than those of pronotum; prosternal process plainly expanded laterally near middle; penis of genitalia acutely pointed at apex, and progressively and straightly broadened towards base; each paramere narrow, with apico-lateral and triangular expansion distinctly narrow, and both apical and lateral and lateral apices acutely pointed.
