Endemic

[ Holotype: UCRC; ♀ Guadalupe Canyon , 305 mts, Baja California, Mexico; July 11, 1967]

This species seems to be endemic to the Lower Colorado Desert in BC. Its name is attributed to the floral association for the only known specimens, which were collected on Washingtonia filifera (Rafarin) H.Wendl. ex de Bary palm ( Timberlake 1971). See fig. 61.
