Phacellodomus ferrugineigula (Pelzeln, 1858)

On May7 th, June27 th and August23 rd 2015,up to two individuals were photographed (WA1739509) and voice-recorded in Rio Novo (29°09’48.22”S, 49°39’07.24”W). On November 5 th 2016 (four individuals; WA2354763; WA2354732), January 4 th (one individual) and February 11 th 2017 (five individuals), the species was recorded along Urussanga river near Lagoa da Urussanga Velha (28°47’31.41”S, 49°12’00.44”W). All records were in marshes dominated by Scirpus giganteus with sparse shrubs .

On 26 th July 2003, voice-records of one individual were obtained in marshes in the eastern border of Lagoa do Sombrio (M. R. Bornschein & G.N. Mauricio , pers. comm.). On October 13 th 2014, two individuals were observed and one of them was photographed ( Fig.4D ) in Anita Garibaldi (29°10’28.07”S, 49°40’22.01”W). On April 18 th, June 27 th, July 5 th and August 23 rd 2015,up to two individuals were photographed (WA1667277;WA1744755; WA1748288) in Rio Novo (29°09’48.22”S, 49°39’07.24”W) .
