Habitat in Camschatcae maritimis inter Asiam & Americam proximam, primario in insula Beringii.
Impetuosissime natant, mares polygami gregatim degunt cum uxoribus, filiis, filiabus ad 120; coeunt in littore resupinata femina, vix metuunt hominem, mordent projectum lapidem, senes elumbes quiescunt pingues, proprium lapidem pro lecto habent, quem non deserunt; bella instituunt propter uxores, lectum, aeqvum & justum; succumbente uno accurrit alter opem laturus, mox alteri alius, ne duo contra unum, usque dum omnes praelio involuti: moesti lacrymas fundunt copiosissimas.
