Notes. A species described from the Atacama desert in Chile and previously recorded from the coastal arid lands of Peru ( Lado et al. 2016) and the arid bordering zones of the “cardonal” ( Lado et al. 2019). The species has a better distribution and abundance on the coast since in habitats located at higher elevations (over 1,500 m), it has only been recorded in a couple of localities, including this collection.
