Legs mainly pale yellow except mid and hind coxae black. Cercus about 0.8 times as long as epandrium, furcated at base; dorsal arm linear, clothed with long, strong transparent bristles; ventral arm furcated at apical quarter ( Fig. 17 View FIGURES 16–18 ).

Hairs and bristles on head black except middle and lower postocular bristles including posteroventral hairs pale; frons with 1 curved, black anterior hair on posterolateral slope. Ocellar tubercle with 2 long strong oc and 2 short posterior hairs. Antenna yellow, but scape brown; pedicel with circlet of short, weak, black apical bristles; scape swollen and vaselike; postpedicel triangular, 3.0 times longer than wide, blunt apically, cohering with basal segment of arista-like stylus; arista-like stylus mainly black, basal segment somehow yellowish; basal segment 0.1 times as long as apical segment, arista-like stylus overall 1.25 times as long as length of head and thorax combined, apically with black oval flag. Proboscis yellow with yellow hairs; palpus dark yellow with pale hairs and 2 black apical bristles. Thorax brightly metallic green. Hairs and bristles on thorax black; 2 long posterior dc and 3 hairs anteriad; 3 paired acr, long and strong; pair of strong median sc, lateral pair absent. All coxae with rows of long lateral hairs, fore coxa with 1 strong yellowish preapical ad, mid coxa with 1 preapical outer bristle at middle, hind coxa with 1 strong outer bristle at middle. Mid trochanter with 1 black outer bristle at middle. All femora with 2 rows of pale ventral hairs (1.5 times longer than width of fore femur). Fore tibia with 1 weak pd at basal 1/6. Mid tibia with 3 weak ad, 3 strong pd and 2 apical bristles. Hind tibia with 5 d and 1 apical bristle, all long, strong. Hind tarsomere I with 1 pd at extreme base. Relative length ratio of fore tibia and tarsomeres: 15.0: 10.0: 4.0: 3.5: 2.0: 1.0; 25.0: 15.0: 6.0: 4.0: 1.5: 1.0; 32.5: 12.5: 7.5: 5.0: 2.5: 1.5. Female. Unknown.
Type material. HOLOTYPE GoogleMaps , ♂ labelled: China. Tibet: Nyingchi, Medog GoogleMaps [N29°22′ E95°26′], 827 m, 2017. VII.1, sweep nets, Qicheng Yang (CAU).
Distribution. China (Tibet).
Remarks. The holotype was collected in broad-leaf forest. The new species is similar to P. luchunanum Yang & Saigusa, 2001 from Yunnan ( China), but may be separated from the latter by the length of the postpedicel and the color of the fore tarsus. In the latter, the postpedicel is as long as wide, and the fore tarsus is yellow ( Yang & Saigusa 2001).
Etymology. The species is named after the cercus which bifurcates two times.
