Material examined: Holotype (female) LACMIP 2533.282ab / LACMIP Type 3414.

Description:

Female (N=1, figs. 48, 144–146):

Total length 8.7 mm.

Head (fig. 146): Width 0.91 mm. Black. Complex eye rather small, oval. Ocellar triangle prominent. Antenna: flagellum 0.56 mm long, 0.12 mm wide, slightly clavate, 8-segmented. Palpus brown, rather long, ultimate segmenent cylindrical.

Thorax (fig. 146): Length 2.0 mm. Brownish-black, notauli deep and distinctive. Haltere brown.

Legs: Slender. Length of fore femur 2.1 mm, fore tibia 2.0 mm, fore first tarsomere 1.1 mm. Femora yellowish, fore and mid femur with dark tips, hind femur with very limited dark colouration at extreme apex. Fore- and midtibiae and tarsi blackish-brown. Hind tibia brownish-yellow with blackish-brown tip, spur blackish-brown, rather long (one-third length of first tarsomere) and straight. Hind first tarsomere cylindrical, basal half pale brown, apically dark brown, more distal tarsomeres dark brown.

Wing (fig. 145): Length 8.3 mm, width 2.9 mm, length/width = 2.8. Dark brownish fumose, veins brown. Rveins strong, posterior veins much finer. Pterostigma brown, not very distinctive. Humeral vein present. Subcosta straight , distinctive, running close to R for most of its length. Costa extends to half-way between apices of R 4+5 and M 1. R 2+3 medium-length, oblique, rather straight. R 4+5 apically distinctively curved. R-M slightly oblique. Fork of M asymmetrical, M 2 rather straight, M 1 strongly curved. CuA-veins apically straight. Vein measurements are given in Table 4 .

Abdomen: Length 6.1 mm. Blackish-brown, cylindrical. Last tergite deeply divided, V-shaped cleft, almost split in two. Cerci very small, rounded.
