Remarks: These records are dubious: as Christiansen & Bellinger (1980, p. 949) noted, “we have seen no Nearctic material which could be referred to lanuginosus , or, in fact, any Nearctic specimens lacking body pigment, antennal scales, and mesothoracic humping”.
