Description. Adult ( Fig. 7 View FIGURES 1‒7 ). Wingspan 7.5‒10.0 mm. Head white, occiput yellow. Labial palpus white, second segment covered with yellowish brown scales, third segment with yellowish brown scales basally and with a yellowish brown ring before acute apex. Antenna with scape white, dark brown apically; flagellum white ringed with blackish brown. Thorax and tegula yellow. Forewing with basal 2/3 orange yellow, distal 1/3 pale brownish ochreous mottled black scales; three white fasciae edged with sparse black scales: basal fascia extending from base of costal margin obliquely outward to base of dorsum; antemedian fascia extending from before basal 1/3 of costal margin to dorsum, parallel with basal fascia; postmedian fascia from beyond basal 2/3 of costal margin to distal 1/4 of dorsum, curved outward medially, slender, outer margin diffused with dense blackish-grey scales; apical spot white, margined with black scales; termen with black scales diffused to apical spot; cilia brownish orange yellow along distal part of costal margin and around apex, greyish yellow mixed with black-tipped scales along termen. Hindwing and cilia grey.
Male genitalia ( Fig. 14 View FIGURES 12‒14 ). Uncus paired, slender, clavate, slightly narrowed and sparsely setose distally, with short, rounded lateral lobe at base. Tegumen relatively short, semicircular, concave anteromedially. Valva narrow at base, broadened to near basal 2/3, then narrowed to pointed apex, with a stout thumb-shaped, densely setose process at distal 1/3 of ventral margin; costa with a large spine at distal 1/3, a long ridge below costa from this spine to apex, with sparse setae from distal 1/3 to before apex, with several short spines from preapex to apex. Sacculus wide, subparallel, produced to a free digitate distal process; this distal process sparsely setose to before apex, densely setose and forming a tuft apically. Saccus straight, slender, almost as long as uncus. Aedeagus straight, about 2/3 length of valva, slenderer distally; cornutus small, horn-shaped.
Female genitalia ( Fig. 18 View FIGURES 15‒18 ). Apophyses anteriores about 1/4 length of apophyses posteriores. Eigth tergum with sparse short setae on posterior margin; eighth sternum densely spinous, shallowly W-shaped on posterior margin. Lamella postvaginalis sub-rectangular, weakly sclerotized, serrate on posterior margin. Ductus bursae membranous, shorter than corpus bursae. Corpus bursae large, irregularly rounded; signum rhomboid, with a knife-shaped, laterally serrate process arising from center.
Distribution. China (Hainan).
Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from the Latin venter and prossesus, referring to the ventral process of the valva in the male genitalia.
