Odynerus gineri von Schulthess, 1934a: 149 , figs 1–4, ♀ ♂ (type locality: “Ibiza (îles Baléares)” [ Spain]), 1934b: 99; syntypes, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology , Zurich, Switzerland and MSNVE.

Diagnosis. Body with yellow pattern, legs predominantly yellow ( Fig. 6A, D View FIGURE 6 ); apical margin of female clypeus approximately as wide as distance between antennal sockets, hardly emarginate ( Fig. 6B View FIGURE 6 ); male F11 slender, apically rounded, without a tyloid ( Fig. 6F View FIGURE 6 ); antero-lateral angles of pronotum in dorsal view rather rectangular ( Fig. 6A, D View FIGURE 6 ); scutellum and metanotum without yellow bands ( Fig. 6A, D View FIGURE 6 ); punctation on T2 fine and sparse, interspaces exceeding diameter of a puncture ( Fig. 6C View FIGURE 6 ); paramere moderately broad ( Fig. 10N View FIGURE 10 ); ventral lobe of aedeagus moderately triangular ( Fig. 10M View FIGURE 10 ).

ADDITIONAL MATERIAL: SPAIN: Ibiza , 22.V.1932, 1 ♀, leg. J. Giner [ MSNVE] .

Distribution. Spain (endemic to Ibiza and Formentera) (Fig. 11).

Remarks. The differences of this species from P. lativentris are mainly in the coloration only. Additional study is required to clarify its taxonomic independence.
