Material
One ♀ without oostegites, Hard Lewis Reef, east of St Martin’s , 3 April 2001 ; 1♀ with oostegites, 49 ◦ 57.86 ′ N, 06 ◦ 15.21 ′ W, shell-gravel in muddy sand, 35.1 m depth, van Veen grab, 27 June 2009; 1♀ without oostegites, 49 ◦ 57.77 ′ N, 06 ◦ 18.36 ′ W, macroalgae on gravel, 10.3 m depth, Tjärnö dredge, 28 June 2009.
Remarks
A boreal species distributed from Norway, The Faeroes and Iceland down through the British Isles to the Channel Isles and the Atlantic coast of France (with a record in the Mediterranean that warrants re-examination), in habitats ranging from algae, hydroids to heterogeneous sedimentary substrata. Not recorded previously from the Isles of Scilly.
