This species is known only from Terrill Cave, Marshall Co., Alabama, and Monteagle Saltpeter Cave, in Cave Cove, Marion Co., Tennessee ( Shear 1972). The locality in Marion County occurs about 7 miles (11 km) south of the southernmost locality for P. barri . P. rhadamanthus differs from P. barri in possessing a large subapical spine on the median angiocoxite and a bifurcate lateral angiocoxite.
