Type locality. Europa (“Habitat in Europa”).

Material examined. Kiel coll. 1 specimen S & TL coll. 2 specimens. Identity. Ancylis unguicella ( Linnaeus, 1758) ( Olethreutinae , Enarmoniini ). Remarks. This name is an unjustified emendation of Phalaena (Tortrix) unguicella L. (e.g., Brown 2005; Beccaloni et al. 2005).
