Pythamus rufus View in CoL sp. n. ( Figs 11–19 View FIGURES 11 – 19 )

Description. Body length (including forewing): ♂, 6.7 mm. Crown ( Figs 11, 13 View FIGURES 11 – 19 ) with red markings at lateral carina and submarginal carina. Median longitudinal carina of frontoclypeus is lamellate in upper half ( Figs 12, 13 View FIGURES 11 – 19 ). Forewing ( Figs 11, 12 View FIGURES 11 – 19 ) brown and translucent, marked with dark chocolate brown stripes in middle and end part, and two white semicircular spots on outer and inner margins respectively.

Male pygofer ( Fig. 18 View FIGURES 11 – 19 ) posteriorly narrowed along with caudo-ventral margin. Pygofer ventral process ( Fig. 18 View FIGURES 11 – 19 ) rather straight, slightly longer than pygofer, with about 5 toothed process distally. Aedeagus ( Figs 16, 17 View FIGURES 11 – 19 ) with bilobed apodeme arising from atrium and extended dorsolaterad; shaft recurved dorsally, apex hooked, subapex with a pair of lateral conical processes; gonopore apical. Style ( Fig. 19 View FIGURES 11 – 19 ), with footlike apex of apophysis having elongated lateral angle, apodeme apex acute. Subgenital plate ( Fig. 15 View FIGURES 11 – 19 ) elongate.

Type material. Holotype: ♂ ( NWAFU), China, Guangxi Province, Napo Defu Natural Reserve, 1400 m, 7.viii.2013, Qingquan Xue.

Etymology. The specific epithet “ rufus ”, meaning red, refers to the red lateral markings on crown.
