Distribution. Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Germany, Great Britain, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Russia (European part, West Siberia), Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, the Netherlands.

Remarks. Rhamphomyia (H.) trigemina ( R. (H.) nigripennis group) is broadly distributed over Europe, including the European part of Russia. It extends to the east as far as the Urals (Sverdlovskaya Province) and may have a disjunct area because there is a record from Western Siberia (Altayskiy Territory) ( Shamshev & Barkalov 2009). The first records of this species from Estonia and Sweden are reported herein.
