Valid name: Hipposideros bicolor (Temminck, 1834)
Paralectotype: ZMB 2570 View Materials , body in alcohol, skull extracted, female; “Anger” = Anjer Coast, Java, Indonesia; presumably collected by Kuhl & van Hasselt, ex RMNH.
Comment: A lectotype was designated by Tate (1941b: 361), who also restricted the type locality to “cote d´Anjer”, NW-Java.
