Etymology. Derived from the Philippine island of Mindanao, the latinized species name ( mindanaoensis , -ensis, - ense) is an adjective.
Type material. Holotype ♂, PHILIPPINES, Mindanao I., Misamis Or. Prov, Dinawihan Gingoog , 26 km E of Gingoog City, 100–300 m, 15.VIII.1965, malaise trap, H.M. Torrevillas ( BPBM, #11,966).
Distribution. Philippines (Mindanao).
