Chinese name: 梭叶ḧ瓢•
Diagnosis. This species is similar to S. lishanicus sp. nov., but can be distinguished from the later by the uniformly black elytra, larger and more elongate body size, and parameres about 1/3 as long as penis guide ( Figs 4a–b, 4f View FIGURE 4 ). In S. lishanicus , elytra are black with yellowish brown apices, body size is smaller and shorter, and parameres are about 1/2 as long as penis guide (Figs 11a–b, 4g).
Description. TL: 1.13–2.10 mm, TW: 1.34–1.61 mm, TH: 0.97–1.06 mm.
Body oval, moderately convex, surfaces covered with short pubescence ( Figs 4a–c View FIGURE 4 ). Body uniformly black, except antennae, maxillary palpi and legs somewhat yellowish brown. Interocular distance distinctly greater than eye width in frontal view. Abdominal postcoxal lines incomplete, recurved toward the base of ventrite ( Fig. 4d View FIGURE 4 ).
Male genitalia: Penis long and slender, penis capsule with short outer arm and long inner one, apex of penis pointed ( Fig. 4e View FIGURE 4 ). Penis guide triangular in lateral view with pointed apex; parameres about 1/3 as long as penis guide, with a tuft of long setae at apex; penis guide approximately widest at basal 1/ 3 in ventral view, bifurcated apically ( Figs 4f–g View FIGURE 4 ).
Female genitalia: Coxites triangular; styli strongly reduced and hardly visible; spermatheca worm-like, with basal ramus and nodulus.
Type material. Holotype: China: Shanxi: ♂, Xiachuan Village, Lishan National Nature Reserve , 1545 m, 9.VII.2013, Huo LZ leg ( SCAU) . Paratypes ( SCAU): China: Shanxi: 1♂, Same data as holotype . Henan: 2♂ 2♀, Baotianman National Nature Reserve , 6.VII.2009, Wang XM leg. Shaanxi: 1♀, Cuihuan Mountains, Chang’an District, Xi’an City , 1300 m, 30.VII.2009, Wang XM leg.
Distribution. China (Shanxi, Henan, Shaanxi).
Etymology. The specific epithet fusinus derives from the Latin word “fusinus” and refers to the fusiform penis guide.
